characters

9kid is the main character of the animated series 9kid!. Known for his uncontainable energy, bad grammar (when writing), and tendency to create chaos out of thin air, 9kid often finds himself in “side quests” — bizarre adventures caused by his own actions or pure randomness. He is created by Daniel, but Benicio Mieras stole his character, claiming it was his.

He’s the face of the show, the spark of insanity in the family, and the one who can turn a normal breakfast into an episode about alternate timelines.

Appearance

9kid has a cartoony, simplistic look. He has a white circular face with matching arms and black dot eyes . He typically wears a cyan-blue shirt and navy boots. His character design has a slightly "MS Paint meets internet meme" aesthetic that suits his chaotic personality.

He made his first animated appearance in an attempt to join the Everything You Know Is Wrong Reanimated Collab, although none of his three entries were accepted. These entries were animated by Benicio Mieras, who had started learning the basics of animation at the time. While that technically WAS his first appearance, it wasn't made public by JusTFalco, instead, it was uploaded to YouTube by Fumber, who then later created a fan animation of Rhett & Links' "Rub some Bacon on it", thus making that his first major appearance.

Personality

9kid is goofy, loud, paranoid, and *very* unserious. He mocks his siblings for fun, especially 1girl, who he calls a “bozo brain bossy bot.” Despite his chaotic nature, he often drives the story forward (usually by accident).

In school, he's friends with 10friend and 9gal, 10friend and 9kid are just casual friends, while 9gal and 9kid always cause havoc, like a troublemaker duo.

He’s overly confident, speaks in broken English, and will mention a train or start a food-related rant at the worst possible moment. Think of him as a mix between early internet randomness and the spirit of a rogue 2000s web cartoon.

Debut History

While 9kid is best known from 9kid!, his earliest known appearances came from attempted submissions to collab videos. These attempts helped develop his style and character before being fully featured in his own show.
