Cinder Fall is the secondary antagonist of Vix Media's RWBY.

She is the leader of a group of anarchists seeking to cause chaos in the world of Remnant. Her associates include her subordinates Mercury Black and Emerald Sustrai, the criminal mastermind Roman Torchwick and Adam Taurus, leader of the Vale sect of the White Fang. It is eventually revealed at the end of Volume 3 that she is a member of an enigmatic organization with malicious goals led by Salem.

Personality

Cinder is sly and arrogant. She can also be vicious and brutal, as evidenced by the fact that she killed a clearly defeated Pyrrha Nikos at close range. She usually keeps a cool head and is prepared to break up a fight if needed. She calls her relationship with Roman "cooperation," but it's clear that she has the upper hand because she soon threatens Roman by conjuring a flame in her hand.

As demonstrated by Roman, she doesn't seem to accept failure and would rather see her objectives accomplished under any circumstance. Additionally, Cinder is known for giving very plain instructions and dislikes being disobeyed. She chastised Emerald and Mercury for not keeping their hands clean.

She usually keeps her composure and is prepared to take up a fight if needed. When Cinder is taken by surprise, which happens infrequently, her enormous anger and brutality come to the surface. The moment Jaune Arc nicks the edge of her mask during the fight at Haven Academy is the most prominent example of this. Cinder's intense reaction to even the smallest attack demonstrates her intolerance for fear, which causes her to react badly when others witness her experiencing it. Cinder hates being forced to feel afraid by both her enemies and her superiors because she wants to be feared by everyone. Cinder is also said to be envious of people who are gifted by nature.
