Scar is the main antagonist from the 1994 Disney animated film The Lion King. He is Mufasa's younger brother, Sarabi's brother-in-law, Nala's uncle-in-law, Kovu's adoptive father, Kiara and Kion's paternal great-uncle, and also Simba's paternal uncle.

Personality

Scar was a narcissistic, cunning, and manipulative lion, with extreme knowlege and a charismatic way of his viewpoint. However, even whith his evil and deceitful nature, he is also very cowardly and pefers to run instead of fighting unless backed into a corner in which he shows he can hold his own against someone of equal strength as him, such as his fight with Simba.

Scar is fueled by sheer hatred, not just toward Mufasa, but Simba and everyone else in the Pride Lands. Despite stating he's "ten times the leader Mufasa was" Scar was shown to be a terrible ruler as the Pride Lands was shown to be a wasteland since his lazy nature meant that he let the hyenas hunt and eat everyone and refused to let anyone else leave the region. He has no care for anyone, and even the hyenas are just tools for his conquest since he is willing to ditch them to save his own skin, ironically leading him to be killed by the hyenas for his mistreatment of them.
